Edward Burtynsky

Edwards’s goal for his work is to be in large print photography, to show the way we use the land. He’s been photographing large industrial landscapes. His goal is to show the rate at which we are using these resources. His work is shown in chapters starting with retracking and refining oil, then how we use it, as in motor vehicles ect...last chapter shows the end of oil where all of the different parts of vehicles end up when we are done with them. Edward’s work is unique because it follows an idea from begging to end; it gives a unique visual outlook on a problem our world is facing. Which is the mass use of oil. I don’t mind Edwards work, seems like a good cause so I got no problem with it
